01Girls’ group for ages 8–15 at Chmilenka
The BORETS schedule includes a group for girls aged 8–15 at our central location: 24B Viktor Chmilenka Street, 2nd floor, training room 3. Classes are led by Anastasiia Hnidko. Before the first visit, the coordinator will ask about your child’s age and experience and confirm a suitable group. Check class times in the main schedule, which also lists coaches and other age programs.
02Learning technique step by step
BJJ teaches positions, transitions and control on the ground. In the BORETS system, it is complemented by standing movement, takedowns and throwing techniques from freestyle wrestling and sport sambo. Each task depends on the participant’s age and experience. Learning to listen to instructions, stop at the signal and practise with a partner under the coach’s supervision is essential.
03How the first class goes
Training starts with basic movements, fall techniques, and partner work. No prior experience is needed, and the complexity of exercises increases gradually.
04What to bring
For the first visit, a clean sports uniform without zippers or embellishments, a water bottle, and tied-back hair are sufficient. The exact format will be advised by the administrator.
05Training does not require competitive goals
A child can attend for regular physical activity, technical learning and time with the team. Competitions are optional: interest, readiness and next steps are discussed with the coach and parents. After her first experience at the gym, ask your daughter what she understood, what she enjoyed and what she would like to ask her coach. Her own response matters when choosing a sports program.
